WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

We are also excited to announce we are pursuing a relationship with the national organization Canadian Association of Harness Dog Sports (CAHDS). Aligning with CAHDS as a Regional Organization will lend additional resources and benefits to both our AAHDS members and our AAHDS clubs, both on the ground with event benefits and at a high level of governance, by having a voice in the development of our sport at the national table.

You will see the value of this new relationship reflected in several initiatives:

  • As the Regional Organization, we represent Alberta Club and Member interests at a national level
  • Club members receive a discounted rate at CAHDS racing events
  • A race marshals program is underway for consistent event procedures across the country.
  • Development of Western Canadian championships to run in alternate years to the National championship

We are tremendously excited to help you build your club in Alberta.

If you need more information, and would prefer a phone call, just let us know! We’d be happy to set up a time to chat to discuss.
